Climate 'is a real issue' -- Sen. Ayotte

Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-N.H.) broke with much of her party yesterday by saying that humans should work to reduce their contribution to climate change. "I believe that it is a real issue, that obviously man-made activity is contributing to carbon dioxide emissions and that we should be of course working on solutions that I hope are common-sense solutions," Ayotte said in an interview after a roundtable discussion with conservationists at Dartmouth College focusing on her support of the Land and Water Conservation Fund.
