Huge mountains of imported coal stored outside in Mumbai, India, pose a health threat to residents when winds from the ocean send the dust across neighborhoods. Students at a nearby hostel affiliated with Mumbai's Marine Engineering and Research Institute are familiar with the problem. Some say that while they worked hard to gain admission to the university, the coal pollution has them reconsidering their decision to attend.
