Ex-Sen. Levin to join Detroit law firm

Former Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.) will join Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP. Levin, who retired from the Senate after last year's elections, will be senior counsel at the Detroit-based law firm starting in April. At the firm, the former chairman of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations will help corporations with internal investigations and crisis management, as well as social responsibility and compliance issues. Levin also will be an adviser to Honigman's government relations and regulatory practice.
