Solar company co-founder to helm Calif. energy fund

The co-founder of a prominent California rooftop solar company is taking the helm of a statecreated clean energy investment fund. Danny Kennedy, co-founder and executive vice president of Oakland-based Sungevity Inc., will become managing director of the California Clean Energy Fund, a state- founded investment fund created after the 1999-2000 California energy crisis to promote clean energy companies.
