The phosphate company that spilled 215 million gallons of contaminated water into Florida's aquifer after a sinkhole opened up in August has reported another spill in the Sunshine State. The latest spill released 50,000 gallons of phosphoric acid at Mosaic's Plant City facility. Mosaic reported the spill to the state Saturday, obliging with Gov. Rick Scott's (R) new requirement of notification to the state Department of Environmental Protection within 24 hours of a spill. This is the second time Mosaic has had to comply with the new rule.
