Mom who brought singing kids to refuge charged with assault

A woman who brought her children to Cliven Bundy's ranch in 2014 and to the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge occupation earlier this year now faces felony charges. Odalis Sharp, 46, of Auburn, Kan., whose singing group was known as the Sharp Family Singers, is charged with assaulting police officers in Kansas and has had seven of her 10 children taken into state custody. Sharp, who is divorced, and her children were the opening act before a news conference in January at the wildlife refuge where a New Mexico rancher claimed he was halting grazing payments to the federal government.
