Weeklong protest targets FERC offices, commissioners' homes

Anti-fracking activists are starting a weeklong "Rubber Stamp Rebellion" protest with a demonstration at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's Washington, D.C., headquarters today, with plans for follow-up protests at commissioners' homes. Beyond Extreme Energy released an itinerary that includes "non-violent" demonstrations at FERC headquarters, the offices of several oil and gas companies, FERC members' homes, and the congressional offices of "some elected officials who don't support their constituents' needs to stop the fracked gas build-out."
