Venezuela has hired lawyers in the United States to make its case with Obama administration attorneys grappling with a pending Supreme Court case over seized oil rigs. The law firm Hogan Lovells filed a government disclosure form last week saying it planned to request a meeting with the Office of the Solicitor General in the Justice Department on behalf of Venezuela.
