Adidas makes running shoe from marine plastic debris

Adidas and Parley for the Oceans will release a limited number of the first running shoe created from recycled plastic debris found in oceans. The shoe is made from Parley Ocean Plastic from the Maldives and illegal deep-sea gill nets collected by the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, Adidas said in a statement.
