Mark Wahlberg and Kurt Russell will re-enact the origin of one of the biggest environmental catastrophes in recent memory in "Deepwater Horizon," a dramatic depiction of the 2010 explosion on an offshore oil platform of the same name. Wahlberg says the $150 million production, slated to open Sept. 30, will stay true to the experience of the 126 crew members who were on the rig when an eruption of drilling mud and methane gas at the BP PLC-owned rig killed 11 and sent countless gallons of crude oil gushing toward the Gulf Coast.
