Huntsman to merge with Clariant

Specialty chemical company Huntsman Corp. announced over the weekend that it will merge with Swiss rival Clariant AG. The new company, HuntsmanClariant, will be worth about $13.2 billion and be run by Huntsman CEO Peter Huntsman. The all-stock deal is expected to be closed by the end of the year.
