Wildlife officials said today that they have captured images of Indochinese tigers and cubs in Thailand's eastern jungles, confirming the existence of a second breeding population of the endangered species. Poaching for tiger skin and body parts, to be used in traditional Chinese medicine, has driven the animals to the brink of extinction. Only about 350 Indochinese tigers remain in Thailand and Myanmar.
