EPA, Sierra Club reach deal in monitoring suit

U.S. EPA has worked out a tentative deal to end a Sierra Club lawsuit challenging changes tornair quality monitoring regulations put in place last year.rnUnder a proposed settlement scheduled to be formally released tomorrow for publicrncomment, the Sierra Club would drop the suit after EPA issues two "nonbinding guidancerndocuments" intended to bolster public access and notification efforts.
