Bidding on federal oil and gas leases in Wyoming wrapped up late last week after bringing in about $20 million, including a number of expensive bids in the Powder River Basin. The state will get about half the money. The Bureau of Land Management leased over 150,000 acres in the state in the first sale of the year. That fell short of similar bidding last March, when excitement over President Trump's new deregulatory agenda sparked $129 million in spending.
