Campaign aims to haul trash off Everest, with yaks' help

Mount Everest has a garbage problem, and Nepal is trying to fix it. The number of people making the pilgrimage to the world's tallest mountain has multiplied in recent years, and so has the trash. But this year, organizers of a national cleanup campaign are hoping to collect 200,000 pounds of trash on Everest and the trails that lead to the South Base Camp and ship it to the capital city, where it will be recycled.
