Chinook salmon in the Puget Sound are taking in a variety of human drugs, and it may threaten their survival, new research shows. As the salmon swim through effluent from wastewater treatment plants, they're exposed to drugs including antidepressants and high blood pressure medication, according to the research published in the journal Environmental Pollution.
