Brewers urge EPA to ditch Trump water rules

Craft brewers from across the nation are calling on EPA Administrator Michael Regan to toss Trump-era rules that narrowed federal wetland protections and rolled back restrictions on pollution from coal plants. More than four dozen companies, including the Allagash Brewing Co. and Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., in a letter to Regan voiced support for President Biden's executive order that placed the Trump-era Navigable Waters Protection Rule and the Steam Electric Reconsideration Rule under review (Greenwire, Jan. 20).
