EPA's internal watchdog found the agency has complied with President Trump's ban on race-related training.The EPA Office of Inspector General said in a letter today to the Office of Management and Budget that it hadreviewed whether the agency had met the order, interviewing EPA officials and analyzing documents for thatevaluation."We found that the EPA is compliant with the requirements of Executive Order 13950," said the letter, which wassigned by EPA Inspector General Sean O'Donnell. In addition, it said, the watchdog office "only assessed theEPA's compliance with the applicable requirements of the Executive Order."Trump's order, issued in September, sought to bar diversity training for the federal workforce. The order, alongwith an earlier memo by OMB, targeted employees' training on "race critical theory" and "white privilege," callingit anti-American propaganda.
