Kendra Pierre-Louis is embarking on a new adventure in the middle of a pandemic. The former climate reporter for The New York Times is gearing up to launch a podcast on global warming produced by Gimlet Media. The podcast - called "How to Save a Planet" - will focus on solutions to climate change, including ways people can pursue civic engagement and get involved in state and local government."It's almost like climate journalism meets 'Schoolhouse Rock!,'" Pierre-Louis said in a recent interview, laughing. A graduate of Cornell University, Pierre-Louis obtained a master's in science writing from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before becoming a staff writer at Popular Science.
