Desalination replaces plastic on wind farm service ship

Denmark's largest energy company started its sustainability mission by divesting fromfossil fuels. Now it's using desalination to root out plastic waste aboard a ship thatservices offshore wind farms.DONG Energy, or Danish Oil and Natural Gas, changed its name to Ørsted A/S afterselling its fossil fuel assets to petrochemicals firm Ineos in 2017 (Energywire, May 25,2017). Ørsted has since transformed into the world's largest developer of offshore wind.
