Landslide stops Amtrak service between Seattle, Portland

Amtrak officials say a landslide blocking the tracks has temporarily stoppedtrain service between Seattle and Portland, Ore.The slide was reported yesterday on the tracks between Tacoma andLacey, Wash.Amtrak said it would provide alternate bus transportation for passengersbetween Portland and Seattle. Officials said regular train service willresume at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
