Shark bites woman twice in Big Island bay

A woman was taken to a hospital yesterday after being bitten twice by a shark while swimming in Hawaii,authorities said.The woman, 27, was reported to be in "good health" and was expected to be released after a shark bit her whileshe was swimming Kealakekua Bay on the Big Island's western side, leaving her with injuries to her lower backand right hip area, police said.Officials didn't provide her name.Soon after the woman was taken to a hospital in serious condition, preliminary information provided to firefighterslisted her age as 26 and that the shark had bit her in one of her legs and her torso, Hawaii Fire DepartmentBattalion Chief William Bergin said.
