A new analysis of debris from nearly 500 cleanups worldwide has named Coca-Cola, Nestle and PepsiCo the topthree commercial contributors to global plastic pollution for the second year in a row.In North America, the top polluters were Nestle, Solo Cup and Starbucks.With the help of more than 70,000 local volunteers, the Break Free From Plastic movement was able to clean upand audit 473,426 plastic items globally, 43% of which could be traced back to the brands that produced them.
