Lawmakers introduced a flurry of bills before leaving the capital for the holidays, including legislation to delist thegray wolf under the Endangered Species Act.S. 3140, from Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) and co-sponsored by Republican Sens. Steve Daines of Montana, MittRomney of Utah and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, would direct the Interior Department to issue a rule removingthe gray wolf from federal protections.
