Science and Technology in China: Implications and Lessons for India

摘要

The book is a compilation of studies on the different science and technological sectors in most of which China has surpassed India significantly. Congratulations are in order for the editor who has led the probe into this challenging and enlightening subject area. The book is edited by Maharaja Krishna Rasgotra, Foreign Secretary for India from 1982 to 1985, who was honoured with the Padma Bhushan award in 2002, and has been President, Centre for International Relations, at Observer Research Foundation from 2007 to 2012. This Centre sponsored a conference of which the outcome is this book, published by Sage Publications India Pvt. Ltd in 2013.
