Outline of 150t/d pilot plant project for bituminous coal liquefaction

The NEDOL coal liquefaction process has been developed by the New Energy and In- dustrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). Nippon Coal Oil Co., LTd. (NCOL) is entrusted the design, construction, and operation of a 150t/d pilot plant by NEDO. The 150t/d pilot plant (PP) project is now on the stage of commissioning and shake-down operation. After that, operations of totally seven RUNs will be started in February 1997.
