Implications of Model Sm-Nd Age for the Earth's Geological History Interpretation

A model of Sn-Nd system behavior in the mantle material fractionalion and continental crust formation was developed in the 1970s [12]. The postulates lying at its heart are valid at the scale of large provinces and continents, but are often disturbed when applied to local objects. Therefore, the use of the model Sm-Nd age in geotectonics does not always seem to be justified and, at the very least, should be managed with care. An attempt is made to prove this statement.
