Note of Appreciation to ASTM International Geotechnical Testing Journal Editorial Board Members and Reviewers

The current co-editors, Dr. William Likos and David Suits, and immediate past co-editor, Dr. Thomas Sheahan, wish to express their thanks and appreciation to the many people who help make the Geotechnical Testing Journal the quality publication that it is. Many persons volunteer many hours of their time to ensure that the manuscripts published in the Journal are of the highest quality. You are referred to the inside cover of the Journal for a listing of the Editorial Board Members (EBMs). Their task, once they accept oversight of a submitted manuscript, is to locate the appropriate reviewers, review the comments and suggestions received from those reviewers, and make an initial recommendation regarding publication to one of the co-editors. If the manuscript needs revision, then they review the author's responses to the review, initiate a second round of reviews if necessary, and make a corresponding follow up recommendation to the co-editors.
