摘要

Compressional-wave velocity (V_p) and quality fac- tor (Q_p) have been measured in Berea and Michigan sandstones as function of confining pressure (p_c) to 55 Mpa and pore pressure (P_p) to 35 Mpa. Vp values are lower in the poorly cemented, finer grained, and mi- crocracked Berea sandstone. Qp values are affected to a lesser extent by the microstructural differences.
