Not Just Trials and Tribulations-We Need Results!

Every day, in every meeting, we hear that data sharing is critical to the acceleration of diagnostic and therapeutic development. This appears to be true at all stages, from basic science through postmarketing. Various stakeholders are wrestling with how to accelerate data sharing in the various settings in which the data arise: academic and industry research, biorepositories, clinical trials, clinical care, pharmacy benefit management, postmarket analysis, and public health surveillance, to name a few.
