Sinnvoll ist auch die Durchführung von Übungen hierzu. Zur Verbesserung der Brandbekämpfung sind zusammen mit der örtlichen Feuerwehr Feuerwehrpläne zu erarbeiten. In Zusammenarbeit mit der Feuerwehr ist durch Begehung der Betriebsräume vorsorgender Brandschutz zu betreiben.%In the event of a fire, danger to personnel must be minimised by clearly indicating escape and evacuation routes and ensuring that these are known to the entire workforce. Practice drills are highly advisable. Also strongly recommended is the formulation of fire-fighting strategy in conjunction with the local Fire Brigade.
