RIBA plans to set up a network of architects in the Middle East able to share ideas and best practice. The organization already has more than 40,000 overseas members in the US and the Far East. 'We are working on a network for architects in Singapore and Hong Kong as well as in the US,' says David Faller, RIBA's vice-president of international relations, 'but members in the Middle East have asked for assistance in setting up a chapter there.'
