SHOWTIME FOR DESIGN HOPEFULS

The 88 entries to Design Museum's fifth Designs of the Year awards are now on show at the Design Museum in London. For the past year nominators from the design industry have been scouting out exciting and innovative designs from all over the world, and the chosen works have been put forward in the awards' seven categories of architecture, furniture, graphics, product, digital, fashion and transport. This year's designs range from typefaces such as Nokia Pure designed by London-based Dalton Maag for Nokia, to Mine Kafon - a landmine clearance device designed by Massoud Hassani.
