Cornish harbour scheme in World Heritage Site

Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios has completed a £15m regeneration scheme of South Quay within the Devon and Cornwall Tin and Copper Mining World Heritage Site. The practice worked closely with Stephen Levrant Heritage Architecture, researched the history of the site and the town, and identified the significance of the site's Victorian sluicing mechanism as being a unique feature. Its reinstatement, delivered as part of the first phase of works, will alleviate the need for costly dredging to keep the channel clear to open sea, assuring the future of the harbour's small fishinq fleet.
