The top assignees are Sekisui Chemical, Pilkington, Johns Manville, University of Newcastle, Owens Corning, A W Hainsworth &rnSons, Industrial Technology Research Institute of Taiwan, and Isolatek International. Some patents have published by the OEMs suchrnas Boeing, Airbus, and EADS.rnⅲ. The key materials of focus are fire resistant glass, fiber reinforced composites; polymers with fillers such as phosphorus compounds;rnfibers mainly aramid, melamine; PVC; polyurethane foam; and fire resistant cotton.
