Options live true to their name. The possibilities and opportunities seem endless and perhaps cause overwhelming confusion for new traders. For traders unfamiliar with how to harness the capabilities of options, inexperienced use can cause considerable losses. For some strategies, keeping a close eye on time and trend is essential to a proficient profit. But by simply educating yourself on the basics of options and understanding how to apply their inherent versatility, your abilities and assessments can improve with all instruments. To that end, an intermittent series in Futures will provide an options summary. This first installment will introduce the instruments and discuss positions designed to take advantage of a rising or bullish market.
