They present it so casually: "You can make a thousand dollars a day." I hear it all the time. "1 trade small. I don't get greedy. I'm happy making a thousand dollars a day." And that sounds great to me. I, too, would like to trade modestly ― not be greedy ― and settle for finite, yet consistent, profits. Terrific. Show me how. Better yet, direct me to these opportunities in my data; it's always better for system traders to discover something for themselves from the ground floor up. That's where the great divide between mechanical and gut traders really manifests itself. "Stop nitpicking!" the armchair philosophers cry. "You don't need your data field for this one! Pick your spot, run up your target amount and grab it! Take the rest of the day off." A thousand a day. Simple.
