The popularity of forex trading is attracting more people around the world. As forex becomes more popular, many firms are offering systems and signals to trade forex. These firms appeal to the tendency in all of us to avoid making difficult decisions. To the beginner, the allure of colors flashing buy and sell signals can be great and the prospect of quick income appeals to our human nature. One of my goals in this column has been to assist the reader in building a compendium of knowledge regarding forex trading. The goal is not to develop a system of trading but a system of thinking, allowing an individual trader to rely on their own skills. The question becomes: What does a beginner need to know?
