In 1972, Commodities, a small publication covering the world of commodities trading, was launched. Its focus was grains, the core of business at the time, which changed when interest rates and currencies were added to the contract mix. In the early 1980s when stock index contracts were launched, Commodities changed its name to Futures. Today, Futures is the oldest and most respected publication covering the futures, options, foreign exchange and stock index markets. Like the industry it covers, Futures magazine is so much more.
