Corzine to head MF Global

Jon S. Corzine was named chairman and chief executive officer of MF Global. He served as governor of the state of New Jersey from 2006 to 2010, and in the U.S. Senate from 2001 to 2006 after serving as chairman of Goldman Sachs.
