Going it Alone on Guns

On Jan. 5,2016, the Obama Administration released a fresh round of executive actions aimed at reducing gun violence and improving mental health in the United States. Although critics have argued that these actions would not have prevented the tragedies in Sandy Hook or San Bernardino, the President argued that he has acted within his executive authority to "use every tool at the Administration's disposal to reduce gun violence."
