Aerospace and defense companies had a rough 2015. The industry ranked 94th out of 100 for U.S. stock performance for the year, falling about 9% (8% relative the S&P 500). The underperfor-mance is a continuation from last year with increasing trajectory, as the industry underperformed the market by 5% in 2014. This is a far cry from 2013, where the iShares U.S. Aerospace & Defense ETF (ITA) was up 51.27%, almost doubling the S&P 500 and with just about all of that coming in the second half of the year alone.
