Rapid advances in the Internet and various computer-based algorithms have partly contributed to the proliferation of cyber-physical system (CPS). On the strength of reliability, usability and adaptability, cyber-physical systems (CPSs) bring a lot of positive potential value for life in the future (e.g., automation manufacturing, energy saving). Whereas, how to handle the darker aspects of CPSs such as security, privacy and trust issues is still a challenge. In this paper, an encryption scheme is proposed to support secure, efficient and reliable CPS. By leveraging the Fibonacci Q-matrix, the proposed scheme is efficient, which makes it adequate for resource-constrained and real-time CPS. Moreover, the proposed scheme is not only proven and designed theoretically but also coded and verified in a realistic environment. Both theory and practice demonstrate that the proposed scheme is valid, efficient and secure.
