Parallel computing technologies

摘要

The issue is composed on the basis of the selected papers presented at the Seventh International Conference on Parallel Computing Technologies (PaCT-2003), Nizhni Novgorod, Russia, 15-19 September 2003. This is already the third special issue of the journal devoted to Parallel Computing Technologies (PaCT). The conferences of the PaCT series are organized each odd numbered year and attract usually about 100 participants. Free access to the presented tools and necessary training are also provided. Totally 18 papers were selected. For this issue all the papers were substantially extended and improved, the results of recent research were also included. The papers of the issue illustrate current trends in the PaCT but of course not all of them. Hope, colleagues will find this issue interesting.
