Special issue on Advanced Architectures for the Future Generation of Software-intensive Systems

摘要

Software Architecture has emerged as an important discipline encompassing a broad set of languages, styles, models, tools, and processes. The role of software architecture in the engineering of software-intensive systems has become more and more central and widespread. The aim of this Special Issue is to report the state of research on the theme of Advanced Architectures for the Future Generation of Software-intensive Systems. It is comprised of selected papers drawn from submissions from an open international Call for Papers and extended peer-reviewed versions of the best papers presented at the 7th European Conference on Software Architecture (ECSA), held in Montpellier, France, on July 1-5, 2013. ECSA is the premier European software architecture conference, providing researchers and practitioners with a platform to present and discuss the most recent, innovative and significant findings and experiences in the field of Software Architecture.
