Progress in design development and research activity on LLCB TBM in Russian Federation

摘要

This paper gives the results of design development, analysis and R&D in support of the IN LLCB TBM-concept in Russian Federation. The main results of design activity on LLCB TBM during the period of 2013-2014 are the following: (1) improved design of the TBM load-bearing casing taking into account new dimensions of the available space in the ITER Test Port; (2) tritium-breeding zone design for the TBM casing new dimensions (including its optimization to minimize the MHD-pressure drop in lead-lithium coolant and to increase the tritium generation rate); (3) TBM attachment system proposal; (4) thermal analysis (in both stationary and transient conditions) of the TBM new design; (5) TBM safety analysis.
