摘要

A method of simplification of analysis for assessing the electromagnetic (EM) loads of the blanket components in tokamaks has been reported [1,2]. The method simplified calculation by extracting the characteristic parameters of the local conducting structure. This paper explored the feasibility of applying the new method to EM loads assessment of EAST Plasma Facing Components (PFCs). Firstly, the integral parameters of EAST PFCs were calculated using harmonic analysis technique. Then EM loads could be gained by simple linear calculation using the pre-obtained integral parameters and external magnetic field. The results comparison with finite element analysis (FEA) validated the efficiency of the method, and this method will be used for the future real-time EM analysis of EAST PFCs.
