摘要

The defect structure of barium titanate (BaTiO_3) heat-treated under reduced pO_2 has been investigated by electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy. The results confirm the formation of Ti_(Ti)~'-centers. Based on the relative size of the principal values of the electron g-matrix, g ⊥ g||, the local distortion of the oxygen octahedron about the Ti_(Ti)~'-centers was also analyzed and the formation of (T_(Ti)~'- V_O~(··)~·) defect associates unambiguously established.
