Rake receivers in Umts

摘要

The forthcoming introduction of the new CDMA mobile communication standard UMTS has revived the interest for RAKE receivers which are used for channel equalisation. The present paper investigates different RAKE structures with respect to the UMTS system, especially for the FDD uplink. The main goals are the evaluation of the receivers' performances and estimates of the computing efforts.
