Multibaseline methods have been recently proposed to reduce problems of phase ambiguity and data noise in SAR interferometry for topographic mapping. Both phase-only interferometry and direct processing of the complex multibaseline data have been considered. In this paper, two non-model based multibasedine estima- tors and two recently proposed model based algorithms are discussed and compared in terms of statistical accuracy of the reduced-ambiguity phase estimate.
